Log Table

The Log Table is perhaps the most honest piece in the Wooden Empiro collection — and in that honesty, one of the most extraordinary. It takes the tree as it was found: the irregular cross-section, the natural edge, the grain that tells a story of decades of growth. All that has been added is time, attention, and the warm glow of a hand-applied finish.

Each Log Table is unique. The form is determined by the kiln-dried hardwood log from which it is hewn — no two are the same diameter, no two have the same surface character. What unifies them is the quality of the material and the care with which it has been treated: cleaned, dried, and finished to preserve the wood while drawing out its extraordinary natural beauty.

The Log Table works as a standalone accent piece, a cluster of varying heights around a larger table, or simply as a moment of the natural world brought into a considered interior. It is furniture as found art.
